First part report of the year! I haven’t done one of these in a while so I’m very excited to share my Disney day with you. Since January is one of the slowest times of the year at the parks we decided to wander around and enjoy the atmosphere.

2016 is the year of the Monkey therefore the first Today of the year is Abu!

It was a gorgeous day and it wasn’t even that cold!

Our first stop was to get a fast pass and we decided on Journey to the Center of the Earth!

We then stopped for a snack. Along with this apricot pie we tried the new fried pizza! It was delicious and the line wasn’t very long at all. I wrote a detailed review in a separate post, please check it out! [Breezeway Bites: Fried Pizza & Apricot Pie]

Decorations for Sweet Duffy! Gelatoni looking good :D

I wasn’t a big fan of this year’s costumes, but they look really cute on this!

I was surprised to see guests walking around with large Gelatoni plushes so I rushed over to see them!

We then moved over to Land to check out the Frozen decorations.

King Louie and his monkey friends are decorating the Today for Disneyland!

Of course we had to say hi to my husband’s favorite performer!

This was the highlight of my day. I had been dying to try the new Jungle Carnival games and the wait was only 10 minutes! We only tried one of the two games, but it was so much harder than I expected! Once I try the other one I’ll write a more detailed post about it :)

Unfortunately we didn’t win, but the booby prizes are equally as satisfying!

We returned to Sea to use our FastPasses and to get some food before Fantasmic! Zambini Brother’s is my ultimate comfort food at Disney. It may not be the most gourmet food in the park, but I love it and will try to go any chance I get.

It was a very relaxed day at the parks and I can’t wait to go back again.
